Bastion BungieI’ve had a few days now to think about Destiny 2’s latest massive puzzle, the Corridors of Time maze, and what went right and wrong about the process. But while the puzzle itself may be an all-time great Destiny 2 moment, it felt like the air was let out of the balloon once it became clear what the actual reward was. Everyone had their own theories about what the puzzle would unlock. It is hard for me to understand what Bungie was thinking here, matching this kind of reward to this kind of puzzle. It is hard not to look at a puzzle like this and imagine how epic it would have been for the reward to be Mythoclast, Gjallarhorn or the exotic sword trio from Destiny 1.
