On April Fool's Day, Congress makes a 'BJP' manifesto

This spoof manifesto promises to ‘fudge data and hide reports’ and even claims to have launched the ‘first ever Whatsapp University’. On April Fool’s Day, the Congress attempted a sardonic jab at the BJP by bringing out a mock manifesto for a Bharatiya Jumla Party whose symbol is a lotus, but upside down. The spoof manifesto promises to "fudge data and hide reports" and claims to have launched the "first ever WhatsApp University". A section titled "Modi vision for India", includes "dictatorship over democracy", "oppression of minorities", and "hopeless unemployed youth", among others. Summing up the last five years of BJP rule, the manifesto claims that the party gave India its "first ever PM" as there was "no history of independent India before him".
