As the New Year begins, Wall Street bankers find themselves in the familiar place of working at home. Wall Street companies, especially JP Morgan and Goldman, were willing to bring workers back to the office last year. Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan, and David Solomon, CEO of Goldman, argued that it was the best way to maintain culture and train new workers. Many JP Morgan employees have worked regularly in their New York office during the pandemic. Bank-savvy people said the manager saw a divergence when JP Morgan tried to bring staff back to at least 50% capacity last summer.
