During the visit, Ambassador Al-Rahbi discussed the piece of land allocated for the project of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Diplomatic Quarter at the new capital. On March 29, 2023, Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly affirmed the need for completing the gradual relocation of ministries to the New Administrative Capital, a Cabinet statement read. A number of ministries already moved in full to the government district in the New Administrative Capital, Madbouly stressed during the weekly Cabinet meeting in the new capital. The New Administrative Capital, under construction since 2015, is located east of Cairo and is set to house millions of people when completed.
