The Omakau horse gallops have been rescheduled for Friday and entry will be free. Central Otago Racing Club president Tony Lepper said he was "gutted". Racing Integrity Unit and the Otago Racing Club officials inspected the course on Tuesday. The Central Otago Trotting Club held an event at the Omakau race course a day earlier, on Tuesday, and over 7000 people attended.
