Day two of the Rio Olympics has seen New Zealand win its first medal of the 2016 Games, with Natalie Rooney winning a silver medal in the women's trapshooting. New Zealand's silver medal has them tied for 19th. The Black Sticks women got off to a strong start, beating South Korea 4-1, while the men drew their second match of the Games 2-2 with Great Britain. As at 2pm on Monday afternoon (NZT) China leads the medal table with three golds and eight medals overall. Traditional powers the USA are placed sixth, with eight medals but just one gold, while Russia are one place below with five medals including one gold.
