The Women’s Heptathlon got underway in the Stade de France, with Kate O’Connor of Team Ireland completing the 100m Hurdles in a time of 14.08 seconds. Day 14 promises to widen Irish eyes once again, as Daniel Wiffen the first member of Team Ireland to compete when he takes on the 10k marathon swim in the Seine at 6.30am.
