Five times Olympics champion, Simone Biles, has joined the trending hashtag, #Me too campaign, revealing that she was also abused by her team doctor, Larry Nassar. The Olympian took to her Twitter handle to share her own story of abuse, stating that she had also been a victim of sexual abuse but had been too shy to come out with it. She wrote, “There are many reasons that I have been reluctant to share my story, but I know now it is not my fault. “I, too, am one of the many survivors that were sexually abused by Larry Nassar. “It is not normal to receive any type of treatment from a trusted team physician and refer to it horrifyingly as the ‘special’ treatment,” Biles writes.
