Healthwatch Oldham, which has the legal power to visit health and social care services and to see them in action, is hoping to find people to help ‘strengthen and develop’ its board with ‘fresh ideas and new perspectives’. Those interested in signing up should download an Expression of Interest form from the Healthwatch website and email it to the Healthwatch Oldham manager, Tamoor Tariq, at tamoor.tariq@healthwatcholdham.co.uk. “We are looking for people that have some experience working in health and social care, or in public services. “All our Advisory Board members have different backgrounds and experiences and the more of these experiences we have the stronger we are as a board. “Being part of the Healthwatch Oldham Advisory Board is a chance for people to make a positive difference to local services and to gain experience in committee/board working.
