Two visitors from England happened upon South Taranaki's newest walkway by chance. But half a world away, in South Taranaki's sunshine, the Hoods enjoyed their Thursday morning jaunt along the new walkway, which follows the former Ingahape Rd through farmland to the historical Manawapou Viaduct. The Manawapou Viaduct stands 44.5 metres high above the river. The new section crosses farmland along an unformed legal road, or paper road, for about 1km to Fairfield Rd.
