A retired double decker bus has been transformed into a meeting space for social workers to interact with students. The bus, donated to Shun Lee Catholic Secondary School by Kowloon Motor Bus, is part of the bus operator's Used and Retired Program rolled out in 2016, which aims to aid schools and NGOs in expanding their space for educational purposes by giving them retired buses. The upper deck of the bus will be used as a social workers' office and for storage of tutorial materials, while the lower deck will be converted into a leisure activity room with furniture like beanbags. The school plans to involve students in painting the exterior of the bus as a platform for creativity and will invite alumni to design the compartments.
