At Bathgate Park yesterday are (from left) King's High School coach Luke Herden, King's captain Taylor Haugh, Otago Boys' High School captain Ricky Jackson and Otago Boys' coach Ryan Martin. It may finally be the off-season, but there was no stopping these players from putting the boots on. A King's High School old boys side will take on an Otago Boys' High School old boys team in a festive 10s game at Bathgate Park in Dunedin on Saturday as part of a fundraiser for former King's High School First XV player Mitch Pereira. He lives in Invercargill with family, having left school last year because of his ill health. Friends of the family and the club have got in behind the fundraiser and there will be many items available.
