Hunter Day, 22, a married first-year chemistry teacher at Yukon High School, was arrested on Wednesday in a sting operation carried about by Canadian County Sheriff’s deputies. The woman’s husband is also her colleague at Yukon High School, where he coaches football. Day's arrest comes just over a month after the station News9 interviewed her about her decision to get an emergency certification to teach science at Yukon High School. In anticipation of her debut as a high school chemistry teacher, Day told the news outlet she was nervous that students would not take her seriously because of her youth.
