Sandeep Kishan's Okka Ammayi Thappa which hit the screens on Friday (June 10), has minted Rs 1.3 crore on its first day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film also stars Nithya Menon and Marathi actor Ravi Kishan in the lead roles. Produced by Anji Reddy, the film has music composed by Mickey J Meyer. The romantic-thriller directed by Rajasimha Tadinada, is a story that unravels as the lead actors are struck in a traffic jam on a flyover and is believed to have been inspired from one of the director's personal experience.
