It said the Filipino crew, along with 11 Russians and one Georgian, were unharmed after the explosion at the Norwegian-owned tanker Front Altair on Thursday, June 13. Iranian state media reported that a twin blast occurred on the vessel. The crew of the Front Altair abandoned ship when it caught fire. Iran said its navy rescued 44 crew members.
