MANILA, Philippines — Oil companies will reduce pump prices by at least P4 per liter this week. Petron Corp. will implement a rollback of P4 per liter for gasoline and diesel and P4.50 per liter for kerosene. Meanwhile, Unioil Philippine said it expects diesel and gasoline prices to go down by more that P4 per liter. On Friday, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. decreased the prices of diesel and gasoline by P3 per liter. By Thursday, oil prices dropped six percent after US President Donald Trump announced a 30-day ban on all travel to and from Europe due to the coronavirus pandemic, Reuters reported.
