The cost of diesel went up by 20 centavos per liter, gasoline by 35 centavos per liter and kerosene by 25 centavos per liter. Caltex implemented the upward price adjustment at 12:01 a.m., followed by Eastern Petroleum, Petron, Phoenix Petroleum, Pilipinas Shell, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, Total and Unioil at 6 a.m. The price adjustment was implemented amid lower crude prices in the global market. Last week, industry players reduced the price of diesel by P2.70 per liter, gasoline by P2.45 per liter and kerosene by P2.60 per liter.
