Oil Turns Higher on Declines in Crude, Gasoline Inventories


U.S. crude oil prices turned higher Wednesday after weekly data showed a surprise decline in crude inventories and a bigger-than-expected drop in gasoline stocks. Light, sweet crude for September delivery rose 14 cents, or 0.3%, to $46.72 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
