Oil Prices Swing on Supply Uncertainty

Oil prices swung between small gains and losses Monday, with traders waiting for fresh supply signals following last week’s rally. Light, sweet crude for October delivery was recently up less than 0.1% at $68.77 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices had their best week since June last week, climbing more than 5% on a larger-than-expected drop in U.S. inventories, though they are still about 7% below their multiyear peak from earlier in the year.
