Edmonton earned five of the possible 10 points available from the road trip, which, while it probably could have gone better, also certainly could have gone worse. “It wasn’t an easy road trip, obviously there were a lot of miles put on,” said Oil Kings head coach Brad Lauer. “We play them a lot,” Lauer said. “Guys get into it, it’s emotional games and they’re fun games to be in.”Of course, the Oil Kings will be leaving Edmonton again at the end of December.
