Briefing the press after a meeting on Tuesday at alliance chief Dr Kamal Hossain’s residence, Oikya Front leader and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement. The alliance announced a three-point program at the briefing, which included a national dialogue, a country-wide campaign to uncover election time irregularities and filing cases with the election tribunals. Jatiya Oikya Front steering committee held a meeting regarding their future political courses of action, at Dr Kamal’s Bailey Road residence in Dhaka. The top leaders of this coalition had rejected the 11th general election results, citing violations of electoral code of conduct.
