Some are quite obvious, others more subtle:Perhaps the most obvious are the sectors dependent on parents making purchases for their newborns. As this birth dearth enters its second decade, the U.S. seems to be joining Europe and Japan in trending towards an increasingly aging population. Still, it appears it’s going to take more than that to reverse the declining number of babies in the country. Remember the retailer Babies "R" Us that went out of business? If it were around today, it would have to be called Babies "R" Not Us.
