In a bid to forestall any clash between herdsmen and farmers in Ogun State, the state government, on Thursday, met with leaders of various interest groups. The meeting had in attendance heads of security agencies, the leaders of the Fulani, Hausa communities and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Abeokuta. The SSG noted that the State remains one of the most peaceful in the country, despite being home to people of diverse tribes, cultures, and religions.
