​Daud Olatunji, AbeokutaThe Ogun State Police Command, on Tuesday, arraigned a 35-year-old man, identified simply as Kehinde, before an Ota Magistrates’ Court for allegedly raping a physically challenged girl. The police prosecutor, Inspector E. O. Adaraloye, told the court that Kehinde, who lives at Abule-Isale, Ilogbo Road, Ota, was facing one count of rape. Adaraloye added that the defendant committed the offence at his residence on February 12, 2020, around 10.30pm. The prosecutor said the offence contravened Section 360, of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun State, 2006. Adeyemi also ordered that the sureties must reside within the court’s jurisdiction and be gainfully employed with evidence of tax payment to the Ogun State Government.
