Ogun: Isiaka promises to reinstate sacked labour leaders if elected

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, has promised to re-instate sacked labour leaders, including the state chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Akeem Ambali if elected into office. He noted that the labour leaders were unjustly relieved of their appointments by the Senator Ibikunle Amosun, submitting that workers welfare would remain a top priority of his administration. Isiaka who highlighted his manifestoes to the workers also presented and handed over a letter containing his promises to the state workforce to Ambali. The NLC chairman urged isiaka to keep to his promises if elected, alleging that labour unions have been oppressed by the current administration. Ambali also advised the governorship candidate to establish Ministry of Labour and Employment to cater for the state workforce.
