Tabor Academy, in Panfield Lane, has been rated as 'requiring improvement' by Ofsted following its latest inspection. “Moreover, there are some factors that limit the impact of the curriculum for pupils with SEND (special educational needs). The report said Tabor is a “warm and welcoming school that pupils are happy to attend”. Inspectors said pupils have a “good understanding of individual differences, are respectful of each other and work hard and want to succeed”. Tabor Academy was contacted for comment by the Braintree and Witham Times but did not respond.
