more-inDistrict Collector and Special Officer of the Guntur Municipal Corporation Kona Sasidhar has set the ball rolling for the beautification of the city. The Collector, along with CRDA Commisisoner Cherukuri Sreedhar and Municipal Commissioner C. Anuradha on Tuesday visited several areas and identified the major areas for beautification. The 4.2-km road would be completed in phases, the CRDA Commissioner said. The road laying work left incomplete since Krishna Pushkaramulu, including the Amaravati Road, Guntur-Palakaluru Road and Pattabhipuram Road, would be taken up, Ms. Anuradha said. Dr. Sivaji called on the Collector and the Municipal Commissioner recently and shared his concerns about the lack of development in the city.
