CAIRO, 14 July 2020: Mohamed Fadl, a member of the Football Association's five-year-old committee, announced that they have officially applied to host the remaining CAF Champions League matches. "We have submitted to host the remainder of the African Champions League matched," Fadl told the OnTime Stadium program on Ontime Sports. Fadl thanked Hani Abu Raida, the former head of the Football Association and member of the Executive Committee in CAF, for his role in this file. Cameroon officially announced on Monday that it will not host the rest of the tournament. The CAF is scheduled to issue its final decision regarding the country hosting the Champions League matches in the coming days.
