The offices will remain open from 11am to 3pm on these two days this week, public administration ministry’s spokesperson Shibli Sadiq said on Tuesday. The violence forced the government to call a curfew, but home ministry spokesperson Sharif Mahmud said the restrictions would be relaxed from 10am to 5pm in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Narsingdi on Wednesday and Thursday. The deputy commissioners and the law-enforcing agencies will decide on relaxing the curfew in other districts.
