A 2-1 loss at the hands of the antagonist Kesler and the dastardly Ducks gives the Flames its’ third straight loss (although they picked up a point on Thursday) as they dropped to 18-16-4. A lack of offence also contributed to the Flames’ loss while the Ducks capitalized on Calgary’s mistakes. Smith, by the way, continued his excellent play in the second period and made a flashy glove save early on Logan Shaw. Tkachuk’s fight with Kesler, who was playing only his second game this season after recovering from hip surgery, came at a perfect time. Ducks shots.
