A police officer who was off duty was hacked and killed in a fight in a bar in Vihiga. The officer who was on leave had been at a bar when the incident happened. The man picked up a chair and hit the officer in the head flooring him before he escaped. The officer was rushed to a local health centre where he succumbed to the injuries. “For now we don’t know the reasons that led to the fight that turned fatal but our teams are pursuing the matter,” she said.
