An off-duty city corrections officer was shot and killed Sunday night while sitting in her car in Brooklyn, sources said. Bryan had been in the neighborhood visiting family and friends — and was on her way to Rikers Island for a shift — when the shooting unfolded, sources said. Her death appeared to be planned and the killer was believed to have been waiting at the intersection before she arrived, the sources added.
