Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik pays homage to the slain jawans in Bhubaneswar. The chief minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakh each for the family members of the jawans. As a mark of respect for the martyrs, educational institutions across Odisha observed two-minute silence on Saturday. Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar pays tribute to CRPF jawans Sanjay Kumar Singh and Ratan Thakur, in Patna on Saturday. Chief minister Nitish Kumar, deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, RJD leader and leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav laid wreaths on the coffins at the airport premises.
