Ocean's brand albacore flaked white tuna in water, as well as solid white tuna in water, are being recalled because they may not be safe to eat due to leaking cans. The products being recalled are distributed in the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a statement that there have been no illnesses associated with the consumption of the tuna, and that the recall was triggered by the company.
