Evelyn Omavowan Oboro has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on Wednesday’s Supreme Court ruling that validated his election as governor. The highest court in the country has finally settled the controversies surrounding the Delta State governorship election and affirmed Governor Okowa as the true winner of the election. A bigger congratulation to the people of Delta State, who are the real winners in the context,” Oboro stated, adding that Okowa would take Delta State to the next level of development and prosperity. “We seek more support from the people of Delta State for the governor now that all the doubts over his legitimacy have been cleared by the Supreme Court”, she said.
