The complainant claimed Bishop Obinim charged him the amount to help retrieve his GHC 78,000 from a fetish priest, Okomfo Gyakpata in the Eastern region. But months after the agreement, Bishop Obinim failed to fulfil his part of the bargain and has also refused to give him back his money. Addressing church members at his residence in Accra, Bishop Obinim denied defrauding the man of the said amount. Singling out his accuser, Bismark Kusi, Bishop Obinim said he will deal with him ruthlessly in the spirit and teach him a bitter lesson for lying against a man of God.
