One other person whose name is immediately not known but is a close associate of the preacher has also been charged with abetment of crime. The duo have been handcuffed and transferred from the Tema Regional Police Command to the National Headquarters in Accra after they reported to the station on Tuesday morning. Bishop Obinim has become a subject of public discussion after flogging two teenagers in his church last Wednesday for fornication. The duo, he claimed, were his adopted children and therefore has every right to discipline them when they go wrong.
