Tony Okafor, AwkaThe Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, on Thursday donated N10m to supplement the feeding of corps members deployed in the state for a three-week orientation course. The governor made the donation while declaring open the 2019 orientation ceremony of 2,200 Batch ‘B’ corps members at the Umunya orientation camp in the Oyi Local Government Area of the state. Represented by the state’s Head of Service, Harry Udu, the governor reassured his administration’s continued support to the scheme. He promised to complete the permanent NYSC Orientation Camp at Umuawulu, Awka South Local Government Area of the state before August. The State Coordinator, Kehinde Aremu, regretted the delay in the completion of the permanent camp, attributing it to delay in budgetary releases.
