The win earned Swamibapa 16 points while Obuya Academy went home pointless. Put in to bat first Swamibapa scored 196 in their allotted 20 overs for the loss of two wickets. In reply, the Academy could only manage to post 85 with four wickets in hand by the time they completed their 20 overs. Charles Obuya top scored for the side with 37 that came off 51 balls with four boundaries and two sixes. His younger brother, David (25 off 37 balls) was the only other batsman who posted double digit figures on the scoreboard.
