"Minister Obaidul Quader is doing better. He will be shifted to a cabin in three to four days,” said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, or BSMMU, Director Prof Abu Naser Rizvi, who has accompanied the minister to Singapore, on Friday. On Mar 2, he was rushed to the BSMMU in a critical condition by his wife Ishratunnesa Quader after he had fallen ill. Quader was flown to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in an air ambulance once he was stable enough to travel. After undergoing tests in the hospital, the minister was diagnosed with a combination of kidney and blood-related ailments.
