Although they are on a rebuilding Oklahoma City Thunder team, Darius Bazley and Luguentz Dort have established roles as long-term starters at their respective positions and have made a major impact. Among second-year players in the 2020-21 season, Bazley and Dort have been at the top of the pack. While he had a minimal role in his rookie season, Bazley has exploded in his second NBA season, averaging 12.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest. When it’s all said and done, the Oklahoma City Thunder may have had one of their most efficient drafts in franchise history in 2019.
