The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has announced a grant of Tk130 crore to preserve 80 ancient, historic mosques in Bangladesh. Addressing the press conference, Shahjahan said: “Dhaka has been recognized as an “Islamic Tourism City” in the 10th edition of ICTM. “Saudi Arabia has already expressed its interest in investing in Bangladesh’s hospitality business.”Also Read – ‘Dhaka to be recognized as Islamic Tourism City’ICTM is a registered entity of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The aim of this year’s ICTM is to showcase Bangladesh’s Islamic cultural heritage to the Muslim countries across the globe.
