Just hours after arriving in Manila from Saudi Arabia on Monday evening, a 47-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was shot dead by an unidentified gunman in Pasig City. ADVERTISEMENTIn an interview with Inquirer Tuesday, PO2 Danilo Damasco said the gunman could have been following the victim. Monteroyo, according to Damasco, has been working as an electronics and communications engineer in Saudi Arabia for several years now. Damasco said Monteroyo went straight to his cousin’s house from the airport before supposedly meeting up with his wife. The gunman, according to Damasco, waited for the OFW’s two companions to pass by the alley before shooting the victim.
