ODM on Saturday announced shelving the planned elections of its grassroots officials citing Covid 19 pandemic. Instead, the Raila Odinga led party has resolved to conduct a harmonisation exercise to fill vacant positions in its leadership. Sifuna said in a statement that harmonization at the polling station and ward levels shall be undertaken by the party members next month. National Elections Board and the National Secretariat will oversee the exercise. Once these are concluded, we shall then conduct the same harmonization at the national level," he said.
