Otago Boys' High School won the debating as well. There were no cameras at that event, but perhaps the school team can mount a good argument for some coverage at next year's sports exchange with Southland Boys' High School. It beat King's High School 44-0 mid-week and dispatched John McGlashan College 65-7 on Saturday. Otago Boys' had spent long periods of the game defending and struggled with their discipline at times. Otago Boys' won the interschool 8-2.
