Nzioka Waita Discloses Special Oath Kalonzo Took at Moi's Home

Former State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita on Monday, May 9 revealed a special oath that the Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka took at retired president the late Daniel Torotich Arap Moi's home in Kabarak, Nakuru County. In a statement, Waita claimed that Kalonzo had taken an oath to unite the Kamba nation, when he was handed over the leadership mantle by the Mulu Mutisya. Now, Waita claims that he went against his own word, leading to a rift, that has left the region more divided than before. Waita added that the Wiper leader should have exercised his wisdom to iron out the thorny issues that appear to have driven a wedge among the region's leaders. His concerns come amid deepening divisions with the Azimio camp over the decision to interview Kalonzo for the running mate position.
