Nyeri county has attracted investments worth over Sh1 billion in the last one year, Governor Mutahi Kahiga said on Thursday. The investments have the potential to create more than 500 jobs. He was speaking in Nyeri during the opening of a Toyota Kenya showroom branch in Nyeri town. Toyota Kenya managing director Arvinder Reel said the expansion of the company in Nyeri county will make it easier for customers to visit the Nyeri branch for more personalised and detailed services and offer employment to Nyeri people. He said the company plans to offer services to customers within a maximum of 50 kilometers from where they are.
