The Nyandarua county assembly has introduced the e-Parliament system to digitise its operations. Assembly clerk Muriithi Wairimu said at least Sh12 million will be saved annually. Speaker Wahome Ndegwa said Nyandarua is the first county assembly to go digital. Other places where the system is in operation are the National Assembly and the Senate. “With the introduction of the e-Parliament system, we are going to eliminate the paper work in the assembly.
