For two years, Nyabera finished second behind Nkatha at both the national and East Africa Games. However, after Nkatha sat her Form Four exams last year, Nyabera, who is a Form Three student at Olympic Mixed, is ready to take up the top sport. "I also want to shine for two straight years. I want to win both the national and East Africa titles and possibly, win a SOYA award before I finish school," Nyabera said.
