(Pic: Steve Humphreys)Nualtra, the Irish nutritional firm that’s backed by former Digicel directors Leslie Buckley and Sean Corkery, has been sold in a multi-million euro deal to a Japanese firm. Mr Buckley is the former chairman of Independent News & Media, while Mr Corkery is the former chief executive of Actavo. Mr Buckley and his family own more than 22pc of Nualtra. Mr Corkery is the chief executive of stock market-listed Irish travel software firm Datalex. Its products are sold exclusively sold to the NHS in the UK and the HSE and reimbursed only once they have been prescribed by a doctor.
